В этом модуле вы узнаете о музыкальной жизни в России/Советском Союзе в 20-ом веке. Вы познакомитесь с известными композиторами, которые жили и сочиняли музыку в 20-ом веке.
После выполнения данного модуля вы сможете:
- рассказать о русских/советских композиторах 20-го века
- назвать русских композиторов, которые эмигрировали за границу
- назвать известные произведения композиторов 20-го века
- принять участие в обсуждении музыкальной жизни в России/ Советском Союзе в 20-ом веке

Directions: Consider the questions below. Log onto the class bulletin board and answer the questions. Read what your fellow students have written and respond to their postings.

- Что такое эмиграция? В какое время/когда она происходила в России?
- Как вы думаете, в какие страны уезжали эмигранты? Почему?
В нижеследующих упражнениях вы сможете познакомиться с новыми словами и вспомнить уже известные вам слова. Знание слов будет вам необходимо для чтения, письма и участия в беседе о классической музыке и музыкальной жизни в России/Советском Союзе в 20-ом веке.
1. Музыкальные понятия 20- го века
Directions: Below is a list of phrases relating to music life at different periods in Russian history. Read these phrases and study any that are new to you. You can click on each phrase to hear its pronunciation.
When you’ve finished studying and listening to the phrases, select Yes for each phrase in the list that refers to the 20th century. Any phrases that do not refer to the 20th century, select No .
When you have finished checking the boxes click on check to see if your answers are right. If your answers are right, a finish button will appear. Click on finish and your successful completion of the exercise will be registered in the grade book.

Directions: Below is a list of words relating to music. Read these words and study any that are new to you. You can click on each word to hear its pronunciation.
When you’ve finished studying the words drag each word in column two to its synonym in column one.
When you have completed the exercise click the check button to check your work. If you've matched all the terms correctly, a finish button will appear. Click finish and your successful completion of the exercise will be registered in the grade book.
Directions: Before you read the text, it is a good idea to think about the topic and about what the text will tell you. It will help you anticipate the content.
Look at the title of the text first and formulate in Russian three questions you have based on the title. When you have finished with this task, read the text carefully. Are the three questions you generated answered in the text? Check the check-box if the question was answered.
